Before Success
After 15 years in business constantly working on short term projects, the company desired more long term clients. The directors wanted to enter new markets but were held back by having no clear vision of how to do it and also they felt that they were too caught up in the day to day issues with no one else taking any responsibility.
Staff turnover was high, particularly with the Sales team. The directors called in Success Management to find out how they could re-energise the business, share the day to day responsible amongst the team, attract new clients and ultimately maximise growth.
After Success
The first couple of months involved an honest examination of the business using a facilitative process, which did not attribute any blame, but encouraged responsibility. Success then worked with the team to define a mission statement and sales targets.
Together, they introduced a new structure in which roles were clearly defined and included an office manager to act as a hub. A staff recruitment procedure and performance awards were brought in, along with a set of processes that laid out a more efficient way of working.
